Status glossary

This glossary gives the official or standard meaning of status terms that appear in court records, bill trackers, company registers and project databases. Each meaning comes from the body that uses the term or a standard legal reference. Remand, for example, is the act of an appellate court sending a case to a lower court 1, and Royal Assent turns a UK bill into an Act 2. Filter by area to see one kind of record.
